That Putin is a devious bugger. I don't know what his motives are but altruism isn't high on my list.

And why is he fannying about in Turkish air space? Accidental my arse.

It's like when you're in the pub and suddenly the atmosphere changes. You know it's time to get your coat or at least get your back against a wall.

The media distorting reality to make news (as always) doesn't help. It seems clear they are bombing as much in support of a pro Assad agenda as much as an anti IS one but I can't see they represent any threat to the UK or the wider world.

The Russkis are the baddies though. Have the movies taught you nothing?

I am starting to have my doubts, seems to me that Mr Putin is a guy that likes to get things done.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Thought this was quite interesting, from a conference last year.

However, for all I know, he might be telling everyone what he had for dinner Smiley

I read that Putin & Obama met last week, but haven't had a chance to read up on what transpired.

Ukraine was supposedly the focus but I think he changed that with the bombings. Excellent gamesmanship.
