Hi All

I am interested to know from any experienced brickie - how many blocks laid on there side would you expect to lay a day - i have just taken a double sided chimney out from roof level and am building the 23 ft wall back up with concrete blocks on there side tying it into the existing double skinned old brickwork - though my bricking skills are okay i think i getting old and slow - 120 blocks is my limit a day.

I am thinking a good brickie can maybe do 250/300 a day - and therefore it might be better to get a brickie in as i have a load more work to do.

Cheers

most brickies do 350 as opposed to 500 which was pretty normal on sites 3 or 4 years ago.

pretty much always first trade off site, unless on price work.
