Signed bats are really common, but I've never heard of one signed by three whole teams! That's cool but also a bit of a pain for the purchaser to try and display. Perhaps encased in a clear box from the middle of the room, a bit like an adult's Pinata?
Do the signatures still look clear? Those can fade over time, which has happened to one my old man has from the 90s. He also has Carl Hooper's burgundy floppy Kent hat, 'acquired' by one of Carl's colleagues. Apparently he was fuming when he realised it'd been pinched. But it raised a lot for charity at our Cricket club ;-)
The bat looks like it was signed yday seriously. It has been inside the plastic bat cover since new in my wardrobe. You can easily tell every signature with ease. Tighty would probably be able to name all 33 players. I have never seen a signed cricket bat before. It does look pretty cool how 3 teams in full have signed it in the way they have. I have no idea why the 3 teams were selected and how when it was signed. My old man won it in a raffle in his pub in the mid 80's. It is a decent DF bat for its age as well. Bat probably worth a ton on its own!
