1 is Towcester greyhounds. a few got that

2 no one got. Wembley stadium being built in the 1920s

3 Sha Tin in Hong Kong. almost all got it

4 Bath rugby. again, georgian architecture, club colurs etc gave plenty of clues

5 too difficult. the new Guyana cricket stadium. not a patch on the character of the old Georgetown one that was on a flood plain!

11 Texas Stadium, now demolished, the old Dallas Cowboys venue

12 that's manhattan in the background which either makes this jersey or queens. no baseball in jersey...so its Queens which means the new york mets and the old shea stadium, now replaced

13 no one got. not a grand slam venue but the 5th slam...Indian Wells in california

14 easy, the road hole at St Andrews

15 most got too, staples Centre and the LA Lakers

I thought #6 - which everybody got - was a water-sports complex.

I thought #6 - which everybody got - was a water-sports complex.

Presumably the bit on the right is.  Looks like rowing lanes.

I used to go to Chester Races a lot and was sure it was 9.  Maybe the last time was 20 years ago, but it is still on the tv fairly regularly.

Annoyed I didn't see lakers and staples before I sent in my answer.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

it was, for the 76 Montreal Olympics (rowing course on the right).

the track, named after Gilles Villeneuve, opened on the island in 78 as part of the Olympic legacy project and has hosted the F1race since

Annoyed i didn't get Muss races as i have been there 3 times in 2016!  I kept thinking Chester but knew it wasn't Chester but couldn't work out what it was.  I knew Indian Wells but didn't make an entry because there were so many i didn't have a clue about.  Very tough quiz Tighty.  Cheers for doing it.
