Ok i'll keep it quick.
Quoting for some work yesterday, nipped to customers 2nd floor flat to get parking
permit. Was in building for 5 mins max. Went to put permit on van and sure enough
allready had a ticket.
Phones the company to explain situation and was told to do one.So i'm pretty
pissed off. Then an hour later i noticed they had the make make of the van down
as a Vauxhall rarther than Peugot.
I've had a browse on web and it says its not worth the ticket its wrote on..

Any ideas?

Same decision as always, pay up and move on or tell them you'll see them in court and be prepared to put up with the hassle.

How much time between the issue of the ticket and the purchase of the permit?

Don't kid yourself, you will get some hassle, but if you're capable of throwing threatening letters into the bin and forgetting about them, don't pay. Nothing will come of it.

IMHO of course.

If the system is to get a permit from the householder/business....then they have to give you reasonable time to go and get the permit and return.

Is this a private company ticket/invoice or council/official ticket?
