Hi Simon, I am currently working my way through your diaries and your blog and Im finding them very entertaining and informative, do you make notes at the table?

Good luck

I used to make detailed notes then realised i was missing too much information , so now i just write the key hands and wait till the break to add to them if neccesary . I normally know how i am going to start the diary and what the focus will be then the rest just comes naturally , the first ones inlcuded a lot of tells and basic strategy and because the diary is syndicated to various sites as a poker school tool , i tend to pick out key plays and explain the thinking .

Do you not think you can sometimes give too much of your thought process away simon. This gives your opponents an unfair edge against you when they play you in tournaments. My diaries I give the key plays  but try not to give too much away about my thought process.

I leave out the more sophisticated plays and no two tables are ever the same so i would never play a hand identically .
