I have convinced Mummy Bandit to buy a new TV for the lounge so i can enjoy champions league football on a monster 60" telly.  But it has been mentioned that we should not get a rear projection, has anyone got any views on this?

Cheers in advance.

hmmm. the new rear projection tellys are better than the old ones - they are now LCD rear proejction, which is an improvement.

Do you really have a big enough lounge to house a 60 inch screen ? To comfortably watch a screen that size you optimally need to sit around 20 feet away from it.....
