Morning all.

Anyone know how many have currently registered or have any views on what the final number of entrants is likely to be?

I saw the betfair market is 1.6 for more than 6001 players - I thought that the general feeling running up to the event was that there was likely to be at least this many but as the event draws nearer perhaps the figure of 6000+ is slightly ambitious?

When does the the event registration actually officially close too?

Any knowledge/views anyone?....

DD.

Hi Dirk, check out the final post from robyong (in his WSOP topic) he talks about No of runners etc, but from the look of things it looks like its going to be double of last year!

yeah, i did see that post from rob but it was pretty vague.  i had read somewhere that 5,200 runners had already registered but I would think that number must be increasing all the time...

just wondered cause if i was a gambling man......

Hmmm i reckon it will 5700 to include late entrants. I overheard one of the floor managers saying he thought that would be the number yesterday
