If I see him in Vegas this year I'm going to ask for his autograph.

"Hey Phil can I have your autograph please? You're the best player ever!"

Have u seen this Bill Fillmaff guy, Brian?

You've got to have a look. His impression is top notch.

There's a link on the news item to his video clips. Definitely worth a watch for any1 who fancies a giggle.

Have u played him much Brian, or just don't like him off the table?

Watching himself on high stakes poker should knock his inflated ego down a wee bit.

yeah but its worth it to see him go off on one on high stakes poker when he raised with A4 to get reraised by danny N with AT then lose his stack when danny hits top 2

"how can you reraise with AT"

my answer would of been simple

i was playing against a mug that why

I actually like Phil Hellmuth - find him very similar to John Macenroe

A fantastic player, one of the best ever but a bit of a dick at times at the table.

However at least he has two things that i really like in a person - passion and personality.  This guy really wants to win at all costs and i like that attitude.  I also think you need to take quite a bit of it with a pinch of salt as he is only looking to maintain his reputation.

However, i actually feel a bit sorry for him in High Stakes Poker.  Hellmuth is a great example of an amazing tournament player and a not so good cash player.  At times he looks out of his depth on the programme  (though nowhere near as that fool Sheiky).

Hi game is built on aggresive tournament play - the Sklansky addage that 'You're Broke, Your Done' - however that is not going to work in a cash game against fearless opponents like Brunson, Neagranu, Deeb and Farha who at times look like they are playing with monopoly money - they dont care - if they lose they will reload...as they know in the long run their edge will make them winners.
