but these guys take risks to maximise their returns huh?

checking the trips on the flop vs two foes on a flushing board.....

how can you call on the end once the second player has called?

was that a bad call tighty??

with only one out to beat me (or maybe holding 2 9's )

i reckoned for the king being out but certainly not the caller,if anything the initial raiser with the big stack, put him on a lil mild bullying

would most have folded here?

I may be completely wrong, but you are facing a bet of $2400 when you have $12k and 10xbb...why waste the chips on a call when at best you are chopping the pot 3 ways?

Even if the first guy is buying the pot the second guy could have 10 10 and up to beat the board but not beat the case K if it is out

Sure. call if its one opponent in case he is playing the board, but its a big ask for BOTH to be playing the board isn't it?

I think it's a poor call too.

Risking 2,400 to win 1,600. In this tournament, I'd let it go every time.

Although an unlikely scenario, there being no pre-flop raise, it can by no means be ruled out.

If there is profit in this situation, it is so marginal that it should be a tournament fold.

Making a mistake doesn't mean you're a big fish with a melted head. This is only a small error (if it's an error at all)

Don't be too disheartened. When they gleefully announce on TV that Texas Holdem is a game that..

"Takes a minute to learn and a lifetime to master"

...they ain't lying.
