Do you think that it would be possible to transfer the skills learned on the PS2 to real life?

I know f1 drivers learn tracks by using computer games.  Could a reasonably intelligent person who had a massive interest in football and an extensive knowledge of the game become a real life manager?

I've seen several applications from people applying to vacant manager jobs at PL level quoting performance in CM as their achievements... the best thing is you get a letter back from the clubs saying thanks but no thanks and good lcuk with your career etc!

great game... i just cant afford to buy it or my life may end again!

Indeed, I once applied for the Bolton job citing no experience other than my CM exploits. I wasn't surprised when I didn't hear back from them, but I was shocked when I heard they'd given the job to Roy McFarland!!

Also, I remember reading once that, when Notts County put an ad in the paper for a new manager, 3/4 of the applicants had CM experience and nothing else.
