Hi

Browsing the forum and thought you guys might be able to help me find a Webmaster.  I'm marketing director of a new 3D start up www.pokerwize.com and we're desperate for help. 

Pokerwize.com, the e-gaming subsidiary of BitsCorp Plc.  The Webmaster's primary role is the implementation and maintenance of website(s) for the on-line marketing and distribution of our games . Working closely with both our marketing and creative directors’ to ensure that our online presence and . Its a hands-on role including managing our relations with the online public and responding to email queries, etc.

Knowledge and skills:

*   Working knowledge of the main poker variants (Texas Hold’em, Omaha and Stud)

*   Must be proficient in the use of website development tools including Dreamweaver, HTML, Flash, Actionscript, Java and XML. Photoshop (CS level)

*    At least 2-3 years experience of website development and maintenance preferably in a media or marketing environment.

*   Conversant with online promotion and distribution methods.

*   Able to implement strategic plans for online website optimization, email campaigns and online promotions

*   Able to multi-task to achieve both short and longer-term deadlines.

*   Effective communication skills required in order to liaise with our brand management and development teams.

*   Some communication with external sources will be expected including web administrators at our online marketing and distribution partners, outside service providers and end users.

Nope, it's our very own.  We're on the Prima network (PKR are trying to build there own) and its stacked with tools to enhance your game.  We're also releasing a PSP, PS2 and Xbox versions at the same time. 

On the subject of the webmaster, I'd apprecaite a referral if you know anyone who fits the role.  We've interviewed a whole bunch of classic webmasters, but they know nothing about poker.... which is a bit of a 'must have'  If you know anyone tell them to conatct me on info@pokerwize.com

unfortunatley my webmaster skills leave a lot to be desired. but i know  abit about poker. Any chance of a job share???

I can Answer "yes" to the first point - do the other seven really matter that much??

I used to be webmaster at a site called dooyoo.co.uk but that was when dotcoms had lots of money to waste and the coding was done in homebase *I jest not!*
