I think that Italy have been the better team.

If Italy score, I cannot see Germany getting back into the game.  Materazzi and Canaravo are different class.

What a goal - I'm glad that Italy are through, they are the better team.

as good as it gets.

Italy probably just about deserved it. Germany played really well though with 10 men. Did ballack get sent off ? he was INVISIBLE.

I thought Ballack wasted an opportunity just before the 2nd goal by being greedy and just hoofed it wide and over - waste considering they needed a goal.

I think Ballack was playing injured, he only just played 3/4 of the last game.

Couldn't believe the bad marking for the first Italian goal, but both goals taken well.
Fingers crossed for France tomorrow as France Italy has the makings of a good final.

Superb game of football .... I wasnt expecting that !!!

I settled down to watch thinking I might be in for a long evening of tutting to myself and shouting at the telly .. How wrong i was...   Thoroughly enjoyable game.
