Moving back to Big Brother...........I've watched most of the previous years versions, not religiously, but enough to know the names of contestants involved and to be aware of most of what was going on.

However this year I've just not got into it at all. The three or four times I've seen it there's been nothing to keep me hooked and it's totally passed me by this time.

Just wondered if that was just me or is BB7 actually duller than previous the ones?

I think that the new gimmicks they've brought in to freshen up the show haven't really worked.

They have to do something new every season to stop the idea going stale but because so much of this years has been about bringing in new people it has meant that the viewers haven't been able to pick up the same affinity with the group as normal.

That's why it seems boring - because it's so much harder to care about what happens to any of them.
