Throw a banana at it, it will just work Cheesy

You will have to explain this concept to me!!

If i take the english meaning literally this would involve me having to release my grip on a banana once i have it in my possession? This is something i have never attempted and to be honest have no desire to try.

OK, what you need to do is this:

In your system tray - bottom right hand side, with the click in it.. there should be a small AOL icon, right click on that.

it will bring up some options - one of them should be "Start AOL Dialler" click on this.

Type in your screenname and pw in the correct boxes and click connect.

Now you SHOULD be connected to the internet VIA AOL without having to log onto the AOL client.

PM if you have problems Smiley

Hes not connected via AOL when hes trying to get the browser to connect. What hes trying to do is get it so that he doesnt have to have the stupid AOL software running on his PC.

If he fires up AOL on the PC, connects, then minimises it, all is fine.
But, if he tries to get the router to login to AOL and bypass having the software on the PC, its not working.

IE works in the first instance, but not the second (can you confirm this please Jim?).

This is exactley what happened.

But i managed to get into my router settings and used the advice of setting up another AOL screen name/password,  And it is now working great. didnt need to ring support either) Cheesy

Again thankyou all very much for your help, You're all stars thumbs up
