why stick such a larghe accy on? nr1...accies are bookies bets...as are yankees and canadians lucky 15's etc. second...bookies will never pay more then 1mill on a coupon..(and for 1£ you will never get a mill from a bookie as you need too many bets to build an accy that big)

nmext time pick 4 and sticmk a tenner or...(I don't even agree with four actually.) I just had 100£ on fulham and everton...that'll do nicely

Did you hear about that scam a while back when someone placed a bet on a match then when he placed it he was given both the slip and the counterfoil back.  So he went away, wrote 25 results down (correct scores) and went to claim his winnings.  Total was about 2800,000,000,000 or something crazy like that for a £1 stake.  What he didn't realise was that the bookies sort of photocopy the slip so the foil is pretty irrelevant Cheesy  Saw it on Player the other day in the greatest scams program.

Yeah I agree with Boldie, accies that large are a nice pay off in principle but they never come off, there's always one that will let you down no matter how many bets you have !

in the olden days (4 or 5 years ago) willie hill was the only bookie that wasn't fully computerised yet and you could fill in a form with just the nr of the horse on it...say nr3..then if nr 13 or 23 or 33 won you could just add the nr by using the carbon copy (which you kept...the little blue slip) and pressing a normal white betting slip over it and putting on the extra nr.

you could then go to another willie hill and claim it...they ussually would call the other store but on a busy day (like grand national day) they wouldn't have the time and for small amounts you'd get away with this.

that's sorted now though lol
