Why on will hill have they put the buy in for the 15k up to 50+5 from 30+3?

If they are putting up the buy in they should put up the guarantee.

This is the 2nd time in not that longer space of time.

It may turn out ok but it will surely force out a lot of fish as the rise is quite substantial.

There are most definately better value tournaments elsewhere and if the prize fund stays the same because of lower entrances i definately won't be playing it anymore.

Will hill care to comment?

It may have something to do with the fact that most nights they have been adding £3000+ to make the guarantee.

It has been one of the best value tourneys out there for a while now

But I guess all good things come to an end sometime.

they have put the buy ins up in the 10k gtd too but they are now running very cheap satellites to both tourneys. i think it is £3 for the 10k and £6 for the 15k so it might not put the fish off it might actually encourage them to have a pop at it

Play the same. If you are playing Tight Aggressive poker, or even semi loose, then you will win more pots than they do. People can and will out draw against you. Any two cards can win, its that simple. What you are doing is +EV. Just play the waiting game. You won't win them all, and hopefully, you don't need to.

play it totally straight up.

Patients, wait for big hands when you hit a flop raise, try to check it down if you hit something midlling.

No stealihg until late on.

When I won my satellite there was three players left at level 3, ha ha I knocked out 3 players in one go with an A high flush that was pretty much OBVIOUS!

I came 47th in the 10k tho  Sad

Sorry Ace, didnt see this until now. The Gtd events have been altered by Cryptologic to allow sat winners at lower stake levels. The full entry fee has gone up to cover more of the gtd amount and the plan is to introduce some more gtd events at different times with the difference.

Thanks
