I thought I'd mention this poker hand before mikkyT beat me to it!
We were playing the £15 freeze-out in Cincinnatis and were both on the same table. I can't quite remember how the pre-flop betting went but I had pocket 10's. Only me and Mikky in the pot and the flop is
, one of my 10's is a club and I still have a higher pair than anything on the board. I bet, mikky raises quite a lot of chips (can't remember how much)... I wait for a moment and have a think...hmmmm... "oh go on then I'll call"
The next card is a 10... wahey I have trips and a flush draw. I didn't want to make it obvious so I checked and so did mikky.
River is another 10... omg, quads... ok Sophie, stay calm, act as though you don't know what you're doing, hope that mikky has a flush and thinks you're trying to steal the pot. I go all in, and mikky folds AK.
I showed him my hand but he didn't speak to me after that! hehehehehehe!
