To me it appears as though she is making an observational comment - not only that but it was a accurate one because you weren't raising with air.

yeah...doesn't seem to me like she's upset at all...she's probably actually quite happy that you shoved it in because now she's sure her Ace rag or King queen would not have been good enough if it hit on the flop.

Overbet much?

Although i dont see the point of this thread...

I dont know why you have said : overbet much? Could you please explain why you have put this??

ah...most people don't get that...Ace Ventura reference.....I'm a big child.

I referred to reraising the 900 reraise by 13k. slightly disproportionate IMO. and I generally feel a bad move. what happens if she has a highish pocketpair (J's up) and is trying to find out what was raised with in the first place. she already stuck in a fair % of her stack and the all in is a BIG  overbet with AK sooted. If she had found J's up you're in a raise..simply because you stuck in a massive overbet and she doesn't take you for very good stuff. the overbet screams AK to me and you might find yourself getting called by a hand that is ahead by some way. (although you would still have 6k left if she calls and you, as the raiser, lose)

If the reraise had been 4500-6k you're effectively saying the same thing (all in or not) but showing more strenght.

some people will still see it as a "9X what I stuck in raise" and that's a bit much, it even makes people with shorter stacks than yourself inclined to call. even the pro's. (Although I have watched a couple of videos of her playing and wasn't all that impressed...she might be better looking then most pro's but she's not a better player than most....actually she can't make a living from playing live events...maybe a great online player though)

I know what an overbet is, i was wondering what reference it has to this play. IMO, none.

You say he has rereraised another 13k, but, he hasnt, he has reraised 5900 more on top of the 1500 in bet. He cannot lose his whole stack. You say that you are in a race at best, but the fact is, you are only in a race at best when/if she calls. His tournament is not on the line here... I dont see how a 4.5k-6k raise can make any more difference at all, you are going to be calling the remaining 1500-2000 all in if thats what she does, in which case, again, you are a race at best!! There are many ways of playing this but i dont think you can make a statement of "overbet much?" here. Sorry, but it just wound me up seeing you put a comment like this.

yes..i got that. and I also explained my thinking behind that (including the statement about him still having 6k left if she calls).

I hate to upset other blondes...but there was a reason behind my post.

He has an obsession with mushrooms. Apparently he seems to think they are magic.

Almost certain she is a member of this forum from railing one of the update threads maybe an old EPT one, can't remember the username though and it wasn't the obvious.

Like mikky says, they are magic  Cheesy.  They come in many different varieties and they are also free. I like them on toast and with loads of pepper.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think Ms Leigh's screen-name is in rather poor taste?
