I've just set up broadband on a desktop computer but when I go to download msn messenger it says that the file in the temporary internet files is not a valid win32 application or something.

Anyone got any ideas how to fix this?

edit: I tried turning off b*st*rd norton anti-virus and still had the same problem so it's not that

You could try rebooting your machine and use the link below which I used successfully yesterday.
