And we thought we had it bad with 'house rules' in poker. What about pool? There's a real game for ODD rules that vary from venue to venue, disputes over which can land you in very sticky situations.

I was playing in some bar in Swansea and they insisted that it was ok to pot one of your opponents balls, so long as you potted another in the same shot (two of my balls ffs)

Think I was had, we were playing for a packakrisps.

Haven't played any pool in a while (9-Ball) but last time I managed to get out for some my mate showed me the rules for 8-Ball as used in the big comp in Vegas (think it was Vegas) where a few of the Brits put up a great showing. (Reminds me, I didn't follow it till the end so need to check who won the thing).

BTW what flavour were the crisps? Not sure my heart would be in it for anything other than salt'n'vinegar. Smiley
