Me and TomTom booked in at the Tulip Hotel, dont know where it is, how far from anywhere, and how nice, but its a room for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday Night at a cost of £112 each. Bargain.

It's a beaitifully clean & modern place, No Smoking throughout as I recall, or maybe just smoking on the 7th Floor. Nice place..

That's good to hear, Tikay, thanks.

Myself and Wayne also booked into there the weekend. Apparently it's about 3 to 4 miles from Aspers, so a short taxi ride. thumbs up

Correct. Share a Taxi with Rooky & get him to pay, that's what I'd do.

For those of you that stay overnight in Newcastle, & don't need to go to Church on the Sunday morning, I can highly recommend the walk along the Canal Towpath. They have paved it beautifully, youi go under 6 or 7 awesome bridges, there are pubs with terraced bars, and they have one of those swingy bridge things - Millenium Bridge, I think- which sort of rotates. Great fun, and a lovely walk, truly.
