With the addition of Kauto star (undoubtebly a fantastic horse) to this race earlier this week there is some very decent value to be had.

Kauto star is a good jumper BUT he has gone down 2 times over 2 miles and Paul nichiols didn't really want to go for this race (the owner made him go) as he feels his jumping is better over a longer distance.

Voy PorUstedes can now be had at 7-2 and should surely be backed against Kauto star. He front runs and puts loads of pressure on his opponents jumping and Kauto star might just not be able to handle this. at 7-2 that has to be a risk worth taking, surely?

After watching Kauto Star romp the Betfair Chase I wouldnt back against it at any distance.

That horse looks like being a superstar, Ruby Walsh is no stranger to top class horses but his reaction after the Betfair Chase said it all for me he was so excited about Kauto Star. The fact that the horse is only 6 is actually quite scary as it still has so much scope for improvement.

oh don't get me wrong..it's a PROPER horse...but if it's going to get beaten it will be over 2 miles...and Voy Por Ustedes is no mug himself. It could be one of those situations that I find myself backing one horse and cheering another one on as they get to the final fence.

I have to agree with Boldie here, 7/2 does look outstanding value for a horse that has barely been off the bridle over two miles, and I've had a decent bet @ 4.7 on Betfair.

Kauto deserves to be favourite after it's last run, but that was so impressive because it had more time to put itself right at it's fences over 3m 2f at a fairly steady pace imo. It will be under a lot more pressure jumping at two mile express pace on Saturday, and Voy Por Ustedes is still relatively unexposed.

I can't wait.

Should be a cracking race.  I think that a specialist 2 miiler will turn over Kauto and don't have much between Voy por thingy & Foreman on the trends.  Will be spliting stakes between those two to take on the superstar.  Also I like the look of Gary Moore's Heathcote for the William Hill Handicap Hurdle, he has a terrific record with 4yo's in this race and is strong on the trends.  16/1 at the moment, get on!!!  The irish raider Well Mounted will be the main danger.

if you are looking EW and Fota island is still in you could do worse. I think that's a nice horse in the making. But if KLauto makes any mistakes Voy will rip this field apart MIO.

Fota Island has it's eleventh birthday Jan 1st !

Still very decent since they found it's best trip, but I'd be surprised to see it win.

Blimey, how impressive was Kauto Star

Must be about even money for the King George now, I hope a fully fit Kicking King shows up for that too.
