just a quick question before i plan my working week around watching all these - when it says "day 1" is that all 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d coverage at the same time or is that just day 1a then "day 2" is 1b etc?
Is this your hand and monkey??

wow just finished the whole lot,,,
you know what? i read in magazines and people talked about jamie gold as no good,,,well i beg to differ i think he played the best wsop ever ,to hold the lead for 6 days and go on to win it i think was fantastic.his table talk was fine by me ,he wasnt rude to anyone and at most he was half trying to help people (the kid who was playing for his grandads charity)i think he is a great champion,,,apart from 1 incident where he flashed the jack, that was out of order, but he out played and out classed who he came up against superb.........thanks for this thread it was cool.
anyone know if i can copy all this to a disc to watch on my tv????sorry but im crap on computers.thanx in advance

Apparently so, Flushy had told me about it in a previous thread - it appears as though the brains behind "team primate" got his own brief cameo appearance during an edition of "the nuts" about card protectors. Quite surprised to get featured to be honest given how brief our main event was!!
Now if Steven Spielberg is looking for someone to play "Thing" in the latest blockbuster re-release of the Addams Family then look now further - my credentials are there for all to see!!

I found these quite by accident last night and watched them until 9am this morning. No idea what day it is, but it was very entertaining. Some prime obnoxiousness snippets on there (I like it when Molina tries to get Gold to make a side bet on who lasts longest).

Just watched Day 3 off this thread, since it was on tonight and I missed it because I was watching Tank in the $50k - so thanks to gmoney for the find
It's a complete circus though, everyone there seems to be under the impression that when the camera's on them, they are obliged to behave like a tit.
Even some well-respected pros (I cite Humberto Brenes here) get caught up in the mix... and poor Tom McEvoy, I really felt for him with the rubdown he was getting from the guy in the next seat.

I have to agree with you on this. Before I'd seen the coverage, I'd heard a lot of bad stuff about Gold. Yes, of course he was lucky, and very lucky at points - but you aren't going to win through a field of over 8,000+ without a lot of luck.
As for his table talk, most of that was fairly innocuous in terms of being insulting, and most of the time was actually fairly clever.
It was interesting hearing the other players at the final table putting Gold down (before the final table got underway), and how he was one of the worst players there and how his stack would soon be shared out amongst the better players.
As for watching it on TV - you've just missed it on Challenge TV. But I'm sure they'll be re-running it a thousand times. They have with previous years.

Repeats of the entire series have already started at around 6pm each night. Will take a couple of weeks to get back to the Main Event again.

Good old Challenge. They don't hang around do they?!? Well it'll make a change from watching Hatchem, Raymer and Moneymaker winning it...
