Its called "Zango" and its giving me pop ups every few minutes and driving me nuts!!!

There is an icon in the bottom right and my toolbar has changed.

I tried deleting it from add & remove programmes but it wont let me.

There is a settings button on the top toolbar but when I tried to delete it from there it says it is going to delete my google toolbar.

Do I need to delete the toolbar to get rid?

I think you'll have to rely on your spyware software on this one, the removal instructions aren't the easiest:

It definitely is adware. Hopefully your adware/spyware software will remove it.

Also Suz, obviously make sure your adware software is up to date with updates etc.

If not, seems you can remove it manually although make sure you backup your registry before making any changes there. (If you're not confident messing around with registry then I'd suggest finding some software that does remove the Zango )

EEEEEEEKKKKKKKK!!!

I just know I would muck that up if I tried it.

I only have adaware (which I have run and its still there) and AVG the free addition (which is running at the moment) I updated both first. I used to have Norton but I didn't bother renewing it last year.

Any suggestions of anything I can download to get rid of this?

Suze

On the other site  under general discussion  there are 4 free downloads.

Try those.
