I am taking a break. . .

Can’t hit a flop, can’t find a hand when it matters.  For about 7 weeks the hourly rate has crashed and burnt, the bank roll is damaged, time for a break.

I am going to try for 4 weeks but have promised myself 2 at least.

I play this game for fun in main, the winnings have helped the misses do a degree for three years but I have to fight for my winnings.  Maybe I just run out of fight.

I feel you guys talk sense and after Snoopy’s post in the “Balance” thread, and lots more I realised it is time to put the chips down for a while, and I will take my Poker hit through you guys for a while.  So keep the forum truly ‘Blonde’.  I'm off to recharge and get my house in order.

I have dusted off the books, downloaded tutorials and going to re learn the game. I have Super System, the two Harrington books and a couple of Sklansky’s.  Is there anything else I should pick up?

In fact I feel like I am going on holiday.

Well done to the HU winner, and I hope those rivers run smooth for all you Blondes.

Shit post Nakor, such a clown.

What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Glad I could be of some use.

I was broke at xmas and desperate for a break.

I watched poker on tv, ploughed through forums, read books, etc, etc - came back revitalised and thirsty for action.

The break will do you good. Hope u enjoy your holiday.

it happens a lot, more common than you'd think

I'm sure when you recharge those poker batteries you'll be winning again soon...
