everytime i turn on my laptop it goes beep,beep,beep,beep for about a minute or so very bloody loud too,any ideas anyone many thanks

Does the Bios startup screen come on?
Does windows load?
How many beeps?
Whats the make and model?

it eventually starts up but the beeping is very very loud and the only way to stop it is to take the battery offwindows do laod after about 1-2 minutes,,,the beeping is non stop m8 thanks,,,sorry tractor its an acer aspire

What's on the screen while it's beeping?

Which model aspire?

Is it still under warranty?

You say you can stop the beeping by taking the battery off? Does that mean you have the laptop plugged in and you remove the battery or remove the battery and put it back in? Does it still boot up with the battery in? Does the beeping never stop if you don't remover the battery but you get into windows OK or can you only get into windows without the beeping?

thanks for your help m8 but i couldnt stand it anymore ive gone and bought the 12 inch toshiba satalitte thingy,
the acer i think has got a virus or bug i will just sell it for a couple of hundred quid m8,im not very good with computers lol thanks.

sofa you have had exactly the two laptops i had in irder. The acer aspire then toshy satellite. The toshy is so much better. never ever goes wrong!!

acer aspire 1360 1.6 ghz wide screen it was the bollox when i bought it £900 about 2-3 years ago if you want it £200 or it goes to the school and ill give the money to the school,,,im good like that....

i think its just a sign of the times m8.,.,.,.,,,.the toshy was £1,000 i got it for £750 its very,very good its the fingerprint one a little to small but the battery last long
