I would just like to say that I have spent many many hours/days/years on Tribeca and the thought of it closing really rips me apart.

I have spoken to people from all over the world in the lobby and keep in contact with loads of them on msn.

I have met and made lots of friends through the lobby, thats where I first heard about Blonde and have met many of you in person through p4c and Blonde.

I will have the tissues at hand in the final hours and I REALLY hope Mr Tribeca chokes on his peanut/jelly/fried egg/with extra cholesterol on top waffles...

He has obviously never seen the friendships/fights/banter/idiots/laughter/discussions/HI and Bye/nutters/newbies who we try to help/jokes/lovely hosts/horrible hosts/lobby going wild after a disco/nutters singing disco songs/the ridiculous quiz questions/the more ridiculous answers/ASL/people getting to know each other...the list is bloody endless.

We are a community and its sad that one person can destroy and wipe it all out.


I know I am speaking for many when I say the lobby will be greatly missed. More than Mr Tribeca will ever understand.

It is the end of an era allright, feeling the odd twinge of melancholy is to be expected.

Don't be too downhearted though, won't be long before you find somewhere similar to fill the hole. The internet is a big place after all.

In the meantime, the blonde forum wont go anywhere anytime soon.

Ahh now Tanky that is debatable.

Lots of good players play on Tribeca because there are so many fish...I think the lobby kept lots of newbies on board for the chat and the sharks have made a killing.

With USA now out of the market its going to be a whole new ball game.

I use poker sites to transfer illegal funds across Europe from my hamster smuggling organisation.

Its a rough business, these small pet shops are just breeding their own now days and all i seem to be hearing is gerbil this gerbil that, One of my girls nearly died the other day when the hamster escaped from its condom in her stomach but she'd had a McDonald's before getting on the plane and that kept the hamster busy for a while, that big mac saved her life!!!
