VIENNA? Was just wondering if any Blondes have been recently or last year to the Poker Festival at the Concord. Any details on Accommodation, Flights, Structures, Cardroom etc would be much appreciated....

Thanks in advance.

I went to the Concord last year, stayed in an apartment with tikay, Jen, Snoopy and B4 matt.

Flights were horrible, delays, lost luggage etc

The card room was fantastic, open 24 hours, great food. The structure for the main event was something like 1000,000 starting chips and a two year clock (well maybe not that much but it's good) Side events were crap-shoots

Some nice architecture in the town if you like that sort of thing, pretty girls in fur hats and boots if you don't.

EDIT:  Thewy was there too, I forgot him.

New flights to Vienna  www.skyeurope.com very cheap. for the schedule go to www.ccc.at  the place is rockin at the momentthank god for the telly they get over 200 for the weekly freezeouts so next month it should be creaking at the seams and they can only seat 320  or 30.  Cash anything you want.     Accom you will have to be more specific what do you want   hotel  or apt.   cost etc how long.....

On balance, if you are a genuine poker player, there are few places in the world, never mind Europe, better to play poker in than Concord in Vienna. Don't dilly dally, or fiff & faff about, just do it.

Sorry wrong address for the ccc. it should be www.ccc.co.at     Theres a girl in the office wh can sort out hotels for apt. you could look  at something called Mittwohn central try google then click on Austria they often have reasonable place for 1 2 or 3 week lets.failing that you could take your breaks from playing next door. The schedule is on their web site .
