Has anyone ever read a book or watched documentary concerning the modern day problems in Africa?

That sort of thing is all I read, I find fact so much stronger & more compelling than fiction.

I am reading "Surviving the word" right now, story of the FEPOW's who were trapped in Singapore, Thailand & Burma, imprisoned, & who built the railway, & bridge over the River Kwai. I challenge anyone to read that & not be moved to tears. Fictional films & TV, well, each to their own, but they are not my cup of tea.

if you like non fiction there  is a good war film made in 1977 that would take your intrest think it goes by the name of star wars

Never, ever, while there is breath in my body, will I watch that sort of junk.
