Roland moves in preflop - everyone perks up - the other players fold - everyone calms down.  We've taken the unprecedented step of moving our mobile office (laptop, that is) on to one of the empty tables behind the TV set and just listening to the commentary.  It's a bit like reporting off a live recording of a radio show.

Oh, a re-raise from Paul Dooley: 210k over the top of Martyn Smyth... call, for what must be a good half his stack...we're wondering what's going on with that...

A long fold and Smyth showed .  Power reciprocated: ...  took the pot and got some unidentifiable noises of support from the crowd.

Paul Dooley is OUT and becomes the 8th place finisher winning €50,000

A huge 1.3 million pot involving Dooley and Canadian whiz kid Sorel Mizzi, with all the chips flying in on a Flop.

Mizzi high fives his fellow North Americans as Dooley leaves to a huge roar of appreciation from the onlooking crowd.

With the exit of Dooley, Tom Finneran is reminded that he has won the PaddyLast qualifiers' last longer.  He'll be off to Vegas to play the WSOP Main Event courtesy of Paddy Power.  Nice.
