Yeh it's mad how they are winning a a few thou. in tournaments and saying it's basically only covering petrol money and not making them much of a profit.

It was weird and showed how quick it's changed that Trumper was third top earner in Europe that year and yet finished down for the year.

Also, if it was filmed in 2004 and it said at the end that Carlo was given a 2 year jail term for fraud and tax evasion or whatever it was, how comes he's in the Speed Poker this month?

Carlo came out at the beginning of the year, and promptly won an event at the Luton January festival

first time i have seen this and was very impressed - though it was excellent!

Isn't there another one around or something similar that includes Marty Wilson or am i getting confused and was it just a one off documentary?

That was called Million Dollar... (Cant remember the rest!). Got it on video. Think it was 1999 WSOP. Included Andy Black and Mike McGhee, must be 1999 Scotty Ngyuen won?

edit..million dollar deal...

Marty Wilson was in Million Dollar Deal filmed around 1999 WSOP. Might have been in another doc about Aussie Millions too. He does get around a bit Cheesy

I believe the documentary you are on about is called the "Million Dollar Deal". Pokerzone were showing about every week, 6 months ago. The bit on Mike McGhee is brillant and heartbreaking to see someone throw it all away under the pressure of the situation. Oh and I believe its the 1998 wsop, 1999 was the year Noel Furlong won it.
