audio help please

i know i aint been on for a while .,.,.,......but anyone know anything about the pioneer avic x1r system ? thinking of having it fitted in the shark van today.,.,., and a mate is selling it for £800 he gave £1800 for it 5 months ago but it was only in his car for a month.,.,.,value or no .,.,good system ? easy to use ? would you buy new speakers to go with it .,.,???  thanks for any advice .,.,.
