A bet for tonight...

I have read the recent threads with football tips with interest and thought I might stick my oar in with a tip for toonight...

It seems alot of posters like backing a short 'un and tonight I think there is a short priced team well worth supporting.

It is well known that team forced to play with only a one day break between games often perform badly in the second game as players bodies need more than 48 hours to recover.

Brighton played (and lost) a particularly heated local derby on Sunday and now are forced to travel to South Wales to take on Cardiff.

Brighton have Gary Hart suspended (which means Jason Dodd, who is slower over 20 yards than me, will probably fill in at right back) and arguably their best player, Richard Carpenter is till out injured.

Meanwhile Cameron Jerome, who has been wowing the Premiership scouts all season is back for the Bluebirds and his fruitful partnership with Ricketts is likely to resumed.

After a very dodgy start to the season, Cardiff have been playing like play off candidates for the last 12 games.

I think Cardiff should be considerably shorter than the 7/10 offered by Hills.

To be fair we have got terrible injury problems..

But, after a fine start to the season our performances have been dreadful for some time.

Holloway is a legend at Loftus Road... but perhaps it's time for a change.
