Bollox I thought Birthday Star was going to get there!  An error of judgement by Brett Doyle in giving the winner an easy lead.

I can't seem to catch him on a winner, every time fancy something with him he seems to get beat or more importantly he seems to nobble good horses and win on big outsiders!

yeah that's what I had with Richard "Can't ride a favourite" Johnsson

Right I am laying the fav in the oaks.  the more I think about it the more I think Richard Hughes is a monkey - not that I have anything against monkeys!

But monkeys aren't built for riding horses.

I am going to have a punt with Simply Perfect - to dig me out the whole I now fine myself in after dissapointing efforts from Sir Percy and birthday star.

I managed to get £40 on at 17/2 £40 @ 8/1 and £20 on at 15/2.

Come on!!

Clever man.  Only small stakes so I'm not too fussed.

Not a bad day yesterday at Epsom I made a small profit with my lucky 15's.

But ended up getting cuffed last night when on my way to the Stanley for the £10 rebuy I got a phone call with a tip and done my dosh on the fecker and ended the day down by £300 as I got a taxi home and chased with another £100 on the fav in the last at Goodwood.
