We too are subject to loads of issues with it, i have been in many tournies when it has crashed and lost due to blinding out. Only a few nights ago i was in a 50 stt and a 150 multy doing very well and got disconnected for a silly amount of time , gave up trying to reconnect and went to bed to sufer my losses. Awful customer support at night, you get through to foreign shores who read text book problem solving solutions who then tell you it is your pc not sky that has the problem. Level 2 tech support is great IF they call you back when you are home which can be up to a week later, I can not stay in for a week. I thought at one stage it was a great isp but no more can i recomend it.

I had a lot of problems with disconnects from the wireless network. I ended up buying a new wireless router and all is well now.

Ive had it for 3 months now and not had any problems...... apart from sky registering my wrong phone number, which then took them 5 weeks to cancel and resubmit my order...

The wireless router is a bit ga@h, just have an ethernet cable handy to plug in- usually does the trick. Or buy a new router....

My father, sister, mother-in-law and I have all had Sky broadband for about 6 months. 4 different exchanges. All worked straight out the box, all have no problems, I've played multi-hour poker sessions at all 4 without problems.

For £5/month, can't fault it. YMMV.

I had sky in my old flat and never had a problem. Trouble came when I needed them to transfer to my new flat. 4 months later they still couldnt do it because of a fault in their system. I ordered with BT and 5 days later was up and running. More than twice as expensive but it works. I wouldnt reccommend Sky broadband to anyone now.
