Just got back from Grosvenor Cardiff.
30 runners gave 5 seats.
Im playing it as a freezeout, and am quite worried at the start by how loose the play is.
Fortunately i hit absolutely everything when i play a hand.
I think i must have played about 10 hands and won 8 of them.
As a result of this i have 17500 at the end of the rebuy period.
I cant remember how many rebuys there were in total, but think it was in the region of 42.
Anyway, play tightens up after the rebuy, as do my cards. I peak at 24500, but then lose about 8K with AJ vs KQ.
Im unable to find any cards but make the final table with 12K. Blinds are now at about 1K/ 2K.
Down to 6.5K i find qh jh and move all in. Get called by
Flop
giving me a possible flush but i miss.
Out in 7th place....
GUTTED!
Ah well, maybe next year..
