Advice whether this is a good bit of software to purchase? Just started playing 50nl zoom after spending like 13 months playing live, hoping to get good at online cash and improve as much as possible. Using HEM atm. Is Flopzilla a good/essential purchase as well?

After HEM/PT and Pokerstove, Flopzilla is definitely the most useful piece of software out there IMO. It is very easy to use, but to get much from it you have to know how to do combinatoric analysis. It is not hard at all, you just have to learn the method. I have done a couple of posts on blonde using Flopzilla, which give a partial demonstration of how to do this analysis. If anyone would like a quick intro crash course on how to do this type of stuff then - if I can find a spare hour - I can show you over Skype/Teamviewer. It is a really useful technique to know how to do.

Link to a Blonde thread in which I demonstrate how to use Flopzilla to analyse a hand: http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=58580.msg1612891#msg161289

Link to a 2+2 thread in which I also use Flopzilla (look for the posts by Currylover): http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/39/small-stakes-pl-nl/nl200-optimal-flop-defending-range-1079282/
