In my e-Mail inbox today......
PokerStars (
www.PokerStars.com
), the world’s largest online poker site, today announced that Scotty Nguyen and Liz Lieu, will both play the ‘PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour Macau: Asian Poker Open’ USD $2,500 buy-in Main Event, which takes place from November 22-27 at the Grand Waldo Hotel and Casino on the historic Chinese island of Macau.
Nguyen, World Series of Poker Main Event winner in 1998 and one of poker’s most popular champions, will join the glamorous Liz Lieu alongside some of Team PokerStars best players. Barry Greenstein, Joe Hachem, Hevad Khan, Isabelle "No Mercy" Mercier, Lee Nelson, Bill Chen, Masa Kagawa , Chad Brown, Emad Tatouh and Tuan Lam will all play in the first ever live poker tournament to be held in the People’s Republic of China
“Scotty and Liz are two of the highest profile Asian players in the world, so it’s great to see them supporting the PokerStars.net APPT Macau.“ said Sarne Lightman, Director of Marketing for PokerStars Asia Pacific, “With new stars such as Hevad Khan and Tuan Lam lining up alongside world class players such as Barry Greenstein and Joe Hachem, the APPT Macau should provide a fantastic display of top class poker in its first event in China.”
