The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Well done to Scooter too...was one heck of a tourney!

Dilemma solved.

As many of you know, I was supposed to play the final leg of the Women's Tour in Birmingham on Nov. 17th...same date as the Waterford festival.  The plan (if I won this seat) was to let my husband play the Waterford event while I was in Birmingham.  What most of you don't know...I've had back problems for a long time.  I'm a firm believer in living life to the fullest and won't be held 'back' by anything...having a high tolerance for pain helps too.     2 weeks after BB5, the docs did an MRI and turns out I have 4 ruptured discs.  You'd never know it watching me play football and Roshambo, huh?  lol  To be fair, was having a good (pain free) spell at the time and reckoned I was grand.

Been doped to the hilt for the past few weeks while we get the operation scheduled, but stayed off the tablets yesterday so I'd have a clear head for this satellite.  Turns out, the docs won't let me fly, sooooooooooo...I'm going to Waterford instead!!!  I still intended to let Himself play the live event and I'd rail the lot of ya, but after it was over last night he said, 'Oh no...you started this, now you have to finish it.'  Soooooooo, looks like I'm playing the main event too!!!  He's told me to take it easy for the next week and mind the back, that way I can go to Waterford with a clear head...tablet free.  Will be great to see you all again and reckon I'll keep that husband of mine for another while.
