Blondepoker Ireland and Big Slick Events Date Changes / Venue Change

Due to problems beyond my control we have to move dates for the blondepoker Ireland festivals next year.

The dates for the Waterford Open 2008 are now the week after the Irish Open, as this is the only time available to me at the moment.

We will also be moving the I.S.O.P in September to a new venue but all the rest will stay the same.


From the events last weekend that many blondes attended, our expenses exceeded our budget and this was due to the food costs over 3 days . This is why we will have a slight change in the registration costs

March – 26th 27thth 28th 29th 30th – Weds-Sunday

Weds – €100 Super Sat

Thursday – €500 + €60  Main Event Day 1A
3 meals included

Fri - €500 + €60  Main Event Day 1B

Sat - €220 + €30 2 DAY Event

Sun- €150 + €20 1 DAY Event

From what I saw last weekend the food was excellent. During the main event they broke the side game first followed by the main event. This allowed everyone to get served...great idea.    Also due to the numbers attending we will start sats online for this event straight after xmas.

The advertising banner on the poker festivals board still shows dates for waterford open in April - presume that needs to be changed?
