Has anyone ever opened or thought about opening there own small card room in there town, what would it take to so etc and would there be much money to be earnt in a small card room.

Lol i hope this thread is as good as the "my home casino" thread on 2p2.

In all seriousness its illegal and would no doubt be one massive headache, having a regular home game invite only is a different kettle of fish.

Be exciting to hold an 'underground' game though, get all sorts of shady characters to turn up and play high stakes cash games in a dimly lit room, bit like the Sopranos. 

I did day dream about having a few dodgy tournaments in the warehouse bit in my work.  We have enough space for probably around 10 tables easily, probably 15 at a push.  It's down a bit of a country lane and is very dark at night.  It's an old farm unit, I think the ambiance would be awesome there too.

A Chap opened a small club in our town spent about 30k on the best tables chips etc just never lasted he shut it after 18 months
