I got a few books about the Dam, & it's construction. I may quote some interesting facts & figures later.

I can give you one fact. That white tide line on the rocks shows a reduction in water levels recorded over the last 10 years. It's apparently a result of global warming! Oh and the pilot told me that the canyon was as old as the earth itself. I nearly burst out laughing at his stating the blindingly obvious
