I was pleased to see Huddlestone in from the start but not at the expense of Lennon who adds pace to the side.
I was also surprised by the half-time substitution; bringing Bent on for Lee. Adding a third striker prevented Berbatov and Keane from utilising what little space there was. And I fail to see the logic of taking off Lee only to then move Zokora to left back. Better to leave Zokora sitting and play with just three at the back, surely?
The whole team was messed about with too much last night and it seemed to confuse Jenas who didn't know whether to twist or stick. Malbranque should have been taken off to bring Lennon on much earlier as he was having a mare.
And what about the long ball tactics right from the start? That's not the way Spurs play.
I don't blame players for missing penalties (although Chimbonda's was awful), we should have won that tie comfortably over the two legs. Gilberto cost us a vital goal in the home game and I don't think Ramos should have played him. Interesting how he left the guy at home for the second leg!
All in all, I think Ramos got it wrong last night.
Just the armchair opinion of an avid Spurs fan.
Oh well, another season over.

i think ramos was murinhoesqe in his 2-3-5 formation, his team totally dominated and should have scored 3 or 4 on the night, ramos was man of the match.

If Jenas was such an arrogant and stupid little boy this thread wouldnt even be here.

The damage was done last week, thats the performance you need to pull apart. I think you should be really happy with a 1-0 win last night.
