I've been to San Remo but not to play poker.. There is plenty to do and this was one of best holidays I ever had. It wasn't like other big Italian 'Italy is the best country in the world' cities. It was very very relaxed. You can sit in the square during the day, drink coffee and watch the world go by on its scooter

I doubt it will be warm enough for you to go swimming in the ocean but thats what my friends and I did every day. The waves were enormous. In the evenings there is plenty of clubbing. When I was there they were all into their ecstasy and acid and are still into house music all night long I believe. I loved it really and the fashion was great. One thing I did think was a little weird was that at a certain time of night, the women went home and the men stayed out?? The men were leaches! lol. We met a KGB spy bankrolling someone in the Tour De Italy, 4 USA soldiers who were selling arms to the Argentinians (i think) and many more colourful characters that all knew how to talk mince with great grace.....lol
Its a great location for day trips to Monte Carlo and Nice. You got to go to Monte Carlo! Its one beautiful place. Infact all the towns around the Italian Riviera are wonderful

Its taking me back.......
