I am sure a lot of you are aware of this but if not see mail I got from DTD:

Hello and thank you for contacting the DTD Poker support team regarding the Dormancy fee .

In response to your query regarding fees deducted from your
account with transaction code DOR (Dormancy Fee), please note
that due to the fact that your account ACCOUNT NUMBER has not
been active in the last three months it has been classified as
'dormant'.

In accordance with Ecash Direct Terms and Conditions, once your
account has a 'dormant' status a dormancy fee will be deducted
from your remaining account balance at the beginning of every
month until the account balance is zero.

Please be advised that the latter is in accordance with the End
User Terms and Conditions which you agreed to upon registering
your Casino/Poker account.

As stated in our Terms & Conditions in Section 6.11, your ECash
Account will be deemed to be inactive if you do not process a
Transfer Transaction from your account in any continuous period
of ninety (90) days. Once your ECash Account is deemed to be
inactive, you agree to pay ECash Direct a monthly service fee of
the then applicable fee (or the current balance of your account,
if less) so long as a balance remains after which the account
will be closed.

You authorise ECash Direct to debit this fee from your ECash
Account on the first day of the month following the day on which
your ECash Account is deemed inactive, and on the first day of
every subsequent month that your ECash Account remains inactive,
until your ECash Account becomes active again or the balance of
your ECash Account is nil.

The dormancy fees will be charged as follows:

From 91 to 180 inactive days 2 £/$/€ per month

From 181 to 365 inactive days 10 £/$/€ units per month

From 366 or more inactive days 35 £/$/€ units per month

Thank you for your understanding.

If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are available for you 24/7, 365 days per year or you can call us on our toll free number.

A full list of our numbers can be found at http://www.dtdpoker.com/contact.php

To ensure that your query is handled with the utmost priority please include your account number on all correspondence to DTD Poker.

Kind regards,
Martin,

I only used the account to pay into the live games, I think in February and had  small amount left in. Not sure if I'll use this option in future if I manage to get back down there.

Cheers

At least they warn you which is more than the scummy Party Poker do when pulling the same scam.  Incidentally these charges aren't legal imo as there is no link between the charges and the cost of the "service" provided (this is the reason so many ppl are getting their overdraft charges back from banks)

I've only heard of this on party I think but it's still absolutely terrible Woodsy and  having a fee deducted is a naff way to find out about it!!! I for one didn't realised it applied to DTD.

Has this been since the move or forever? (I assume its forever as it's ecash?).

I doubt DTD have anything to do with it, its probably e-cash so therefore out of DTD's hands.

yup that was another one my friend told me about.

It's just a v stupid rule.

I hadn't played on Sky for ~ 6 months and they sent me a letter saying I had ~£400 in my account so I was like oh yeah sweet.... and then started playing again.... rather than just withdrawing the second I finish and session and hamper my ability to play in the future....  idiot

Hi

Very kind of you to offer but it is only a couple of quid so not worth the trouble. I only used the account to come down and play live and only left a small amount in. Although not sure I'll use site to register for live anymore.
I only posted in case there were others like me.

Once again thanks for the offer, the club is great just a pity it is so far away.

Cheers
