I used to play a lot of chess and yes, chess has a limited number of moves. The computer will win here because it can think 20 moves ahead which is just impossible for a human. This is how chess is won. The computer can also look at you and project what you can do 20 moves ahead, see if there is any potential for danger and neutralise it before you can spring a single trap.
