I fear think Celtic have a really good chance of getting through to the last 16 again this season. Still think they will struggle to break their duck away from home but capable of avoiding defeat in Spain and Denmark, this and their usual home performances should be enough.

Pretty sure all English clubs will be comfortable qualifiers but there's usually one that makes hard work of it.

Still think Chelsea FTW.

I agree mate I think its a decent draw for Celtic- avoiding games like having to travel to deepest darkest ukraine or russia in november were what I was hoping for to be honest but I reckon you have a real fighting chance of getting through this (unfortunately). Aalborg should be a banker and at the very least 4 points out of 6, then you just have to contend with villareal for 2nd place as I think manure will get stronger before this starts. at least you avoided the 4 stronger teams from pot 4- those 4 are better than most of the teams in pot 2.

I've watched a fair bit of Villareal in the last season and I'm worried - watched them destroy Barca last season through fast passing possession football.

Great trip for the bhoys although there's not a huge amount of bars/hotels.

At least the bull run's'll be over.

Celtic fans have nothing to be worried about imo.

we're never gonna win it. making the last 16 is great achievement given the circumstances. The uefa cup is a MUST if we dont qualify. whatever draw we got was gonna be tough.

We're there for the party.

Been looking at dates and flights etc and doesn't look like I will be going anywhere other than mancland!

The first away game is a little too early and I am away on Donegal for the Celtic festival.  Managed to find a flight from Shannon Airport to Alicante for 15 euro which is really good and Alicante is not too far from Villareal.  But Shannon is a bit of a hike from where I am in Donegal so that idea has ben scrapped.

Looked at doing a week in Benidorm trying to fly from Belfast or Derry but the costs aren't the cheapest, infact probs cheaper flying from Glasgow.

For the other game in Denmark I have never been to Allborg before, don't think we have played them before but pretty murderous trip.  Myself and seven2unsuited were looking at a number of crossings last night including flying to Germany, Spain, France and Sweden and getting a connecting flight but the times of connecting flights were miserable.

But where there is a will there is a way the Saltmarket CSC will have a bus going to all 3 you never know, maybe I'll end up on that.

Drawing Villareal cannot be seen as good by any stretch of the imagination. None of the teams in this group should like it.

Yeah for me the most significant thing about the draw was dodging some of the scary pot 4 teams. I reckon the group will go exactly as seeded.
