I dont mind the reraise on the flop, but I also like calling here. 77 does much better against his betting range than his bet calling range and he is likely to throw away he top pair hands and shove over you with big draws which you cant really call imo. What did you want to achieve here? Did you want him to come over the top of you, muck his hand or just call?

Not sure what I think of the turn bet, its less than half pot. Lots of players would shove over the top of this as it looks really weak and again, did you want him to do that or were you trying to peel extra value from a very marginal holding?

River I fold, I think he has better than a pair of sixes most of the time here, and since you have two of the sevens it probably means you are beat. Yes he will show us A6 or a busted flush some of the time, but I think you made the hand way to tricky for yourself here.

I flat the flop, bet the turn if he checks and flat again if he bets, god knows what I do on the river as it would be totally different pot size by now.

He is playing a two-thirds buy-in stack

Anyone else in marginal situations skews this to a call on the end?

Yeah, i dont mind the raise on flop but i also sometimes flat and keep the pot small. On the river you look crushed to me.
