Yep. Seen loads of dogs do it but especially sight hounds, and especially bitches.

Is that a bitch btw?

We'd 2 female dalmatians, one laid down like that the other didn't. Our Border Terrier cross lies like that as well. Like Red says I've never known a male dog to lie like that.
